Anton Koval appointed as Member to Standing Committee on Enforcement of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI)

Partner of Doubinsky & Osharova Anton Koval re-appointed as Member to Standing Committee on Enforcement of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI). The Bureau has approved Anton’s appointment to this committee. The appointment will conclude on December 31, in three years’ time.

The main purpose of AIPPI is development and improvement of international and national systems of intellectual property protection. Today, the Association has about 9,000 members, including legal practitioners, patent attorneys, and scientists from more than 125 jurisdictions.

AIPPI standing committees meet annually. Their activity consists in harmonizing of intellectual property legislation.

Members of the Standing Committee on Enforcement of AIPPI monitor, comment and advise AIPPI on policy, legal frameworks and decisions relating to the enforcement of intellectual property rights, including that of Courts, any other relevant judicial, administrative or regulatory body etc., which may affect the enforcement of intellectual property rights.

We congratulate our colleague on his appointment and wish him significant success in the framework of the committee and in the strengthening of the system of protection of intellectual property rights.
