Doubinsky & Osharova has been acting for Diageo Brands B.V. in the case regarding the recognition of the well-known status of White Horse trademark in Ukraine and the invalidation of White Hopes trademark that is similar to the client’s one.
Specifically, on April 12, 2017 Kyiv’s commercial court of appeal denied the defendant’s appeal in its integrity and remained in force the decision of Kyiv’s commercial court of March 06, 2017 on granting all the prayers for relief of Diageo Brands B.V. in the cancellation action.
Currently, the above-indicated court decision came into the legal force and was fully executed in the proceedings specified by law.
