Anastasia Kazankina, a lawyer of “Doubinsky & Osharova”, was appointed a member of the Internet Committee of International Trademark Association (INTA) for the period 2020-2021.
We congratulate Anastasia and wish her great success and interesting work within the committee.
Internet Committee develops and advocates the Association's policy regarding the balanced protection of trademarks on the Internet. The committee focuses primarily on policy development and compliance issues at the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) with respect to the use of trademarks in the domain name system. This includes active and vocal participation in working groups and drafting of public comments. In addition to ICANN policy, the committee will monitor developments in other global Internet governance initiatives, social media, mobile applications and other technical platforms and provide subject matter expertise to relevant INTA committees and staff.
