On April 5, 2023, one of the large-scale events in the field of intellectual property took place - the IX International Forum on Intellectual Property, organized by Yurydychna Praktyka.
Michael Doubinsky, the managing partner of Doubinsky and Osharova, moderated the forum's first session.
Opening the discussion, Michael Doubinsky emphasized that now Ukraine is in a situation where we have a mix of at least three components: we are at the stage of the IP administrative reform; we, as always, are at the stage of improving legislation; and еру war was imposed on all these – no other country has had such experience and situation.
The critical challenges of the IP sphere during the war and in the process of reconstruction of Ukraine, global trends in the protection of intellectual property rights, and European integration vectors of industry development were discussed:
