On September 20, 2019, Dubinsky and Osharova partner, Victoria Sopilnyak, spoke on the topic “How to defend a trademark in court?” At the A2B Forum: Advocacy for Business.
Victoria described the trademark acquisition algorithm from the date of application for registration to the certificate, as well as the specifics of the protection of TM rights and grounds for invalidation of the certificate. The report illustrates the role of expertise in court cases for the recognition of a trademark certificate as invalid on examples of protection of the rights of Ukrainian and foreign companies.
