On January 27, 2023, senior partner of Doubinsky & Osharova Tatyana Shpakovich participated in a meeting of the newly established IP office team with representatives of the National Association of Patent Attorneys of Ukraine.
During the meeting, the participants discussed issues related to the attestation procedure for patent attorneys, development of an effective mechanism for preparation for attestation, amendments to the regulations of functioning of the Appeals Chamber, international applications under the Madrid Protocol, as well as issues of technical audit of existing information systems and databases for the further development of the industry and its digitalization were discussed.
Both teams emphasized the importance of consolidation and dialogue between the state body and specialized associations for the further development of the intellectual property sector.
