Doubinsky & Osharova is the General Partner of the key legal autumn event for IP professionals - IP UKRAINE NOW 2021! This year the main focus of the discussion was on the effectiveness of the IP reform: the work of the Appeals Chamber in the National Intellectual Property Authority system, the existing problems of protection against unfair competition of IP objects, the effectiveness of the IP protection system at the customs border and other equally important issues.

On October 11 -16 October, 2021m at the invitation of the USAID Legal Reform Program, Michael Doubinsky, Managing Partner of Doubinsky & Osharova, as an international expert, gave a series of trainings for employees of the Intellectual Property Agency of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Agency's regional centers and judges of economic courts in Uzbekistan.

The event was held to share experience, improve IP protection standards, as private bailiffs currently have little practice in enforcing intellectual property-related judgments.

Mykola Pototskyy is a renowned IP specialist in Ukraine, a Doctor of Juridical Science, an attorney-at-law and a patent attorney with almost 20 years of experience in the public sector and a private practice.

Managing Partner of Doubinsky & Osharova Michael Doubinsky gave a lecture to the students of the course “Building a systemic law firm in new conditions” held by Leadership in Law educational platform on October 07-10, 2021.

Managing IP’s Rising Stars list for 2021 has been confirmed.

Victoria Sopilnyak, partner of Doubinsky & Osharova, has been appointed as a member of the Famous and Well-Known Marks Committee.
