Last fall the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted amendments to the Customs Code of Ukraine aimed at strengthening the protection of intellectual property rights at customs. At the end of June 2020 two Decrees of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine necessary for the implementation of these amendments came into force.

The summer of 2020 turned out to be rich in legislative changes in the field of intellectual property. Some of the most awaited were bills 2429 and 2259.

On July 21, 2020, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted two laws that strengthen the legal protection of intellectual property in Ukraine.
