One of the authoritative international legal directories– World Trademark Review 1000 has published its annual edition WTR 1000 - The World's Leading Trademark Professionals, where Doubinsky & Osharova is recognized as the gold winner among the top IP firms in Ukraine.

According to the results of the survey Doubinsky & Osharova is included in the list of 50 leading law firms in Ukraine in 2017, as well as being one of the leaders in the sphere of intellectual property. The Agency is also ranked in the Top 50 list of law firm for the financial efficiency.

Editors of Ukrainian newspaper ‘Yurydychna Gazeta’ announced the results of the survey – ‘Market leaders: ranking of law firms in Ukraine in 2017’ where Doubinsky & Osharova is included in the list of 50 leading law firms in Ukraine in 2017.

The largest legal public organization - Ukrainian Bar Association together with the EU-funded Project “Support to Justice Sector Reforms in Ukraine” and High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine started the set of events aimed at supporting the process of formation of High Court on Intellectual Property and discussing the debating points of court activity.

Victoria Sopilnyak made the report on “The practice of consideration of “pharmaceutical” IP objects cases’ in the context of application of special knowledge.”

Yaroslav Ognevyuk has been appointed to the Anticounterfeiting Committee at International Trademark Association (INTA) for the 2018–2019 term.

Doubinsky & Osharova has been acting for Diageo Brands B.V. in the case regarding the recognition of the well-known status of White Horse trademark in Ukraine and the invalidation of White Hopes trademark that is similar to the client’s one.

Doubinsky & Osharova has bene acting for Diageo Scotland Limited – the  owner of the famous Captain Morgan rum, from unfair competition actions on the alcohol beverages’ market.
